Dear Master Chen,
I have been studying Practical Method for about four and a half years now and I hope to be able to practice for the rest of my life. I began with classes taught by Wei Ping at the community college and soon added the classes at the local park. Even with my meager knowledge beginning to scratch the surface, I appreciate the many layers of learning. The complexity is one of the intriguing features.
I have no martial arts background, but find that with practice, I continue to progress. One’s pace is not important so much as consistency to continue to train. My goal is to be faithful to the way that you teach us and become a disciple to join the family of fellow Practical Method students and teachers. Along with that, I hope to help others learn and motivate them to continue their practice. I humbly request to be considered for a discipleship.
